January 2nd: I started the year off with 2 hours of house cleaning! It wasn't too bad, but I did get sore from it.
January 5th: I ran 1.50 miles on the treadmill (8:36 pace) then did a 10:32 HIIT workout
January 7th: I ran 2.64 miles in 23:18 (8:49 pace) then did a 6:01 HIIT workout
January 11th: I ran 2.01 miles on the treadmill in 17:52 (8:54 pace)then did a 12:01 HIIT workout
January 12th: I ran 2.01 miles in 17:41 (8:47 pace) then did a 8:01 HIIT workout
January 13th: I ran 3.01 miles in 27:43 (8:56 pace) then did a 6:02 cool down walk
January 14th: I ran 1.01 miles on the treadmill in 8:47 then did a 12:01 HIIT workout
January 19th: I ran 1.51 miles on the treadmill in 13:12 (8:45 pace) then did a 10:21 HIIT workout
January 21st: I ran 2.37 miles in 21:15 (8:59 pace) then did a 6:33 HIIT workout
January 22nd: I ran 1.01 miles on a treadmill in 8:48 then did a 9:09 HIIT workout
January 25th: I ran 2.01 miles on a treadmill in 19:04 (9:29 pace) then did a 4:21 HIIT workout
January 27th: I ran 1.01 miles on a treadmill in 8:42 then did a 13:18 HIIT workout
January 28th: I ran 1.51 miles on a treadmill in 12:59 (8:36 pace) then did a 7:24 HIIT workout
January 30th: I ran 2.51 miles on a treadmill in 21:40 (8:38 pace) then did a 8:26 HIIT workout. This was an Atlanta workout.
Here were some changes I began to notice more and more...first, this is my swimsuit picture comparison from the Chicago Triathlon in June 2015 and then January 2016
Then I did a leg comparison from mid-year 2015 (June-ish) to January 2016. I have some quad gains!
Overall, I can see myself slimming down. But believe it or not, i have not lost more than 10 pounds. Instead, I am building on a great base and getting stronger! Here's to another great month! Until next time...
