Biggest Loser Run/Walk in Mobile

While in town for my mother's birthday, Scott and I decided to make good use of the trip! We decided to run the Biggest Loser Run/Walk to help prepare for our Super Spartan in April! I ran 3.15 miles in 31:57 with a pace of 10:08. Not exactly my best, but I rant the whole thing and we both finished! You can view my route here. Check us out before the race!


And...here we are after we finished and received our medals! It was a great run through downtown Mobile and a great 5K for Scott to do!

February 2014 Workouts

It seems as though time literally has slipped right on by me!! I did a few more workouts in January and then, BAM, I pulled a muscle in my back...BAD! SO I stopped Body Rock and went for a smoother workout regime and just ran for a while. Here are the work outs I did in February:

February 5th - Treadmill run, 2.01 miles in 19:58. My average pace was 9:55 per mile

February 8th - Haliegh's birthday party! We skated...and oh did I skate! I got an hour on those roller skates!

February 9th - Biggest Loser Run...more on a separate post!

February 11th - Cycle class at the Payne Center for 45 minutes...kicked my butt!

February 24th - Campus run for 2.12 miles. I completed it in 22:00, with a pace of 10:21 per mile. Not very good, but at least I ran. You can view my course here.

I hate that I took so long to post these workouts! I have been active...actually very active! Here's to the next workout! Until then...
