Joe Cain Day 5K Run

5K number 2 for this year and month! The Joe Cain 5K run was great! It was a bit cold, I ran with a sweater this time, but it was fun! I ran 3.15 miles in 29:24, check out my route here.  

I was so excited, even my bug and my Khloe-bug got to run the 1-mile fun run! They did great too :) Check out me and Khloe running together here. She ran 1 mile in 13:35! Not bad for a 4 year old! Haleigh was already done when we got there. Check out these two cuties before and after the race!

 

She was so excited about her "medal" which was a chunky set of beads! :) We had a lot of fun!! Here's to the next workout! Until then...

Superhero Skedaddle 5K

I wanted to kick off the year right with a good 5k, so I went to Mobile and did just that! What I didn't prepare for is that my time, which was normal to me, would actually place me for the first time in a 5K run! It was great!! Check me out! 

 

I even checked the website and that is when I saw that I had placed :) Check out my route and heart rate here! Check out my results where I came in 3rd!! This was a fun, but challenging run on South Alabama's campus. It was a bit cold, but nice when I was finished! Here's to the next workout! Until then...
