It is Thursday and I need one more quick workout before my big race on Saturday! So I booked it to the Payne Center and tried to get in a quick run and body rock routine. I did a 2 mile treadmill run at a speed of 6.3 mi/hr and finished in 19:06! That was my best run on the treadmill yet! That was 9:34 min/mile! I am excited about that time, I only hope I can translate that to open road easily. I also got a 4 minute body rock routine in just to get some quick strengthening done to help boost my smaller muscles. Here is that workout:
Workout: 4 minutes, 50 seconds work and 10 seconds rest
Squats [23]
Push-ups [18]
Straight Abs [18]
Tricep Dips [22]
I hate I didn't get a chance to do more, but it was a great workout! I am super excited about my bike ride this Saturday. It is the Ride Yellow Cancer Tribute ride in Bay Minette, AL. I am doing the 37 mile route! I hope I do well :) Here's to Saturday. Until then...
