Transition 1: 2:57 to get my bike out and prepare for the ride
Bike: 12.75 miles in 47:27. I began to give out so I decided since I had not biked in a while and this was my first time using my new aerobars, I would take it easy. My best mile was 3:20 and my slowest mile was 4:19. Not too bad...Check out my bike course here.
Transition 2: 3:21
Run: I biked instead and went 3.89 miles in 14:24. My best mile was 3:34 and my slowest mile was 4:04. Check out my bike course here.
I did a total of 16.39 miles in 1:21:04 (not counting transition times, which total 6:18). Not too bad for my first trial run!
Here are my new aerobars! I am super excited to get to use these and see how much faster i can be on my bike!
Today was hard, but I have to get more transitions in or I won't get better during my training. Here's to the next workout! Until then...
