March 2014 workouts

Now we come to March! Before you know it, this year will be over!! I had quite a few workouts this month, check them out!

March 1st - I ran through the neighborhood for 2.56 miles and did it in 26:34, which gave me an average pace of 10:22 per mile. You can check out my route here.

March 3rd - I ran 3.00 miles on the treadmill at the Payne Center in 29:46, which gave me a pace of 9:55 per mile!

March 5th - I did an interval run on the track at the Payne Center. The GPS was acting up due to being indoors. My break down is: mile 1 in 8:50, mile 2 in 9:17, mile 3 in 10:03, and 0.23 miles in 2:26 for a total of 3.23 miles in 30:36 for a pace of 9:28 per mile! March 11th - 2.01 treadmill run in 19:07 :) that is a pace of 9:30 per mile!

March 12th - I ran around campus and did ok on this run...4.05 miles in 42:46, which is a pace of 10:33 a mile. I puttered out at the end! You can view my route here.

March 14th - I did a campus run of 3.04 miles in 30:51! That is an average pace of 10:09 per mile. You can view my route here. I really am trying to break this 10 minute mile I have going on...

March 17th - I did another interval run on the track and did great! I ran 2.00 miles in 18:04! You can view my run here.

March 19th -  I ran 4.5 miles on campus in 46:58, which is an average pace of 10:26 per mile. This was my last run before the 10K on Saturday! You can view my route here.

March 22nd - Azalea Trail Run (more in a separate post)

March 28th - Run on the track. My first run with my new Garmin watch!! It was one of my best runs, I ran 2.00 miles in 17:59, which is an average pace of 8:59 per mile! 

Whew! March was intense! I did a lot and tried to stay in shape for the up coming Spartan! Here's to the next workout! Until then...
