I was very excited for this day to arrive! Scott, Khloe and I were going to participate in the Boston tribute run in our hometown. It was a great cause and reason to get out and exercise! It was a run through the avenues closer to downtown by the park and zoo. I was very excited and got off to a great start! I maintained my pace until the end and ran the 2.62 run in 24:10, 2 minutes faster than just 2 days before! I was very excited to have closure that Tuesday was just a bad run day! My pace was 9:14 and it felt great when I got done! You can view my route here.
I encourage you to run for a cause. Get up and run for someone who can't, it is highly motivating! I try to make all of my races intentional, meaning I am not just running a race to run. I am running in place of someone who can't, or in honor of someone who can't. Running for a cause is great...try it sometime if you haven't!
Here's to the next workout! Until then...
